Beauty salon software for bookings and checkout
BOC for beauty salons is salon software that keeps each stylist's bookings, your price list, client files, packages, and retail sales in one place. The desk books the visit, each stylist follows their day on the phone, and the cashier closes every bill with the products sold and the person who sold them.
Each stylist's day on one calendar
The calendar shows the whole salon in day, week, month, or list view, and the Staff filter shows one stylist's day. Every card names the client, the price, the stylist, the service, and the room or suite, such as the Facial Suite. When a client runs late, drag the visit to a later time and BOC checks the stylist and the room before it saves the move.
Prices follow the stylist and the version of the service. Switch on Staff and Variant in Services and Pricing, and a senior stylist charges their own rate for the same service, while VIP clients get their own VIP price. A Booking Capacity rule can let one stylist take two quick services at the same time while color services stay at one.
Packages, retail, and the cashier
Treatment courses sell as packages with a price, an expiry, and a renewal price, and each session lands on the stylist's book. Retail products live in Products & Inventory with stock per branch, a low-stock alert, and expiry dates. Buy product on the visit card adds an item to the bill and credits the stylist who sold it.
At checkout the cashier shows due, paid, and remaining, and one bill can be split between cash, card, and wallet. Extra sessions are added with Add Extra Session, and for booked clients Set Next Appointment books the next visit while they are at the desk. A discount request waits for a manager to accept it, and Discount History keeps every decision with a name.
Know your clients and your team
Each client has a Customer File with past services, notes, photos, and any open balance, so the stylist reads what was done last time before the next appointment. The WhatsApp button on the file opens a chat with the client's number to confirm a booking.
Each stylist's staff file shows worked appointments, income, customers, and the products they sold. Commission rules pay a percent or a fixed amount for services, packages, and products, and the dashboard compares stylists side by side with the split between new and returning clients.
How it works in BOC
- Add services and prices. In Services and Pricing, add each service with its color and a price per stylist and variant.
- Add your stylists. Add each stylist in Team with a role that puts them on the booking list.
- Stock your shelf. Add retail products with cost, sale price, expiry, and a low-stock number in Products & Inventory.
- Book and serve. Book from the client file or the calendar, and each stylist follows the day in the BOC app.
- Check out and rebook. Take payment at the cashier, add any products, and set the next appointment.
Everyday challenges
The book and the chairs drift apart
One shared calendar with a filter per stylist, and every move checked against the stylist and the room before it saves.
Retail sales go uncounted
Every sale records Sold by, stock comes off when the sale is paid, and the Best Staff card names your top seller.
Clients forget to rebook
Set Next Appointment on the cashier card books the next visit while the client is still at the desk.
Discounts are given on the spot
Staff request a discount, a manager accepts or rejects it, and Discount History keeps each decision with the name of the person who made it.

Questions
Does BOC have salon booking software?
Yes. BOC's calendar holds every stylist's day in day, week, month, and list views, with the client, price, service, and room on each card. It runs in the browser and in the BOC app for iPhone and Android.
Can clients book a salon appointment online?
Your team books each visit in BOC, from the desk or the BOC app. The booking window shows free and full times, so a call or a WhatsApp message becomes a confirmed visit in a few clicks.
Can prices differ by stylist?
Yes. Switch on Staff for the service in Services and Pricing and add a price row for each stylist. When the desk books with that stylist, BOC uses their price.
Does BOC track retail products?
Yes. Products & Inventory keeps stock per branch with cost, sale price, expiry, and a low-stock alert. Each sale goes to the cashier, and stock comes off when it is paid.
Can I pay stylists commission?
Yes. Write a commission rule for each stylist as a percent or a fixed amount for services, packages, or products. Commission lines build up on their ledger and become due on payday.
Can a client pay part in cash and part by card?
Yes. In the payment drawer, Add another payment option adds a second line with its own method, amount, and currency, and the drawer shows what remains as you type.
Can stylists see their bookings on the phone?
Yes. Each stylist signs in to the BOC app with their own account, and the calendar shows the bookings their role allows.
