Staff employment contracts, written and sent in BOC

BOC's staff contracts let a manager with the HR Contracts permission write an employment contract (Full time, Part time, or Temporary, with start date, end date, and salary), preview the exact text, and send it to the employee from HR on the web or in the BOC app for iPhone and Android. The employee gets a notice that a contract is ready to review and sees it in My HR with its status and date, while the manager views and downloads the text from the contract card. A signed contract is read-only, so the agreed text stays exactly as it was.

Send a contract for Nour Ibrahim with the Full-time staff contract template: Full time, from 02/11/2026 to 02/11/2027, salary 900, and the contract text filled with her name, role, branch, start date, and salary, with its preview above Send contract.

What it does

Open HR and choose Contracts. Under Send a contract, pick the Employee, then choose a Template when your workspace has one, and its text fills the Contract box when the box is empty; you can also type or paste the text yourself. Choose the Contract type (Full time, Part time, or Temporary), the Start date, the End date, and the Salary. A text file chosen under File loads its text into the box, a PDF chosen there is noted by its file name, and you can edit every line before sending.

The preview under the text box shows the contract as it will be sent and updates as you type. Press Send contract and confirm Send this contract?: BOC adds the type, the dates, the salary, and the file name at the end of the text, keeps that text as a snapshot together with the template version, and sends the employee a notice that a contract is ready to review.

Below the form, the latest contracts for the branches you manage each have a card: the employee's name, a status of Sent or Signed, Signed at with the date and time once it is signed, View, which downloads the contract text as a file, and Resend, which picks the same employee in the form so you can send a new version.

Statuses and the read-only copy

Each contract card shows Sent, then Signed with the Signed at date and time once the contract is signed. A signed contract is read-only: the signed text stays exactly as it was, and signed contracts stay in place even for people with the Delete HR records permission. Signing by the employee from My HR and the BOC app is coming soon.

HR home shows Contracts waiting to people with HR Contracts, on the web and in the BOC app, so the contracts that are still Sent stay in view. For new terms, Resend prepares a new version for the same person, and a signed contract stays as it is.

Employees find their contracts in My HR, under Contracts, with each contract's status and date, on the web and in the app. Sending, viewing, and downloading staff contracts needs the HR Contracts permission and covers the branches that person manages, so salaries written in contracts stay with the people who should see them.

Contracts from the phone

Managers with HR Contracts can also send a contract from HR in the BOC app for iPhone and Android. Enter the employee, pick Full time, Part time, or Temporary, write the contract text, choose the start and end dates on a calendar, and enter the salary. The preview shows the text before you press Send, and a Send this contract? window asks you to confirm. The app adds the type, dates, and salary to the end of the text, the same way the web does.

Staff contracts and client consent

Staff contracts are employment documents between the clinic and its team, kept in HR. Consent forms that clients sign before a treatment live in the client file and have their own page, Contracts and Consent.

How it works in BOC

  1. Open Contracts. In HR, open the Contracts tab on the web, or Contracts in HR in the BOC app.
  2. Pick the employee and the text. Choose the employee, then a template, a text file, or your own contract text.
  3. Add the terms. Set Full time, Part time, or Temporary, the start and end dates, and the salary.
  4. Read the preview. Check the preview under the text box; it shows what the employee will receive.
  5. Send it. Press Send contract and confirm. The employee gets a notice that a contract is ready to review.
  6. Follow the status. Each card shows Sent, then Signed with the date and time once signed, and Contracts waiting on HR home counts the contracts still out.
The staff contract list: Layla Mansour's contract is Sent, and Dr. Karim Youssef's and Ahmed Saleh's are Signed with the date and time of signing, each with View and Resend.
