Multi-branch management for clinics and salons

BOC's multi-branch setup runs several locations in one account, on the web and in the BOC app: each branch keeps its own calendar day, time zone, cashier, booking settings, stock, and dashboard, while customers, staff, services, and packages can work across branches. You switch branch from the account menu or the app menu. When a customer or a staff member moves, BOC checks every upcoming visit against the new branch first.

The Branches page with Hamra and Verdun, their phone numbers and street addresses, Add Branch, and the Trashed switch.

What it does

The Branches page lists each location with its name, phone number, and location. Add Branch asks for the branch name and phone number, then the location: search for your branch or your business on Google, drop the pin on the map, or press Use Current Location, with country and city. BOC takes each branch's time zone from that location, so the calendar and cashier day follow local time. The Trashed switch shows deleted branches with Restore, and when you delete a branch that still holds customer files, BOC asks which remaining branch should receive them and transfers everything in those files.

Everyone works in one branch at a time. The branch name sits at the bottom of the side menu, Branches in the account menu switches to another one, and in the BOC app the branch list at the top of the menu marks the Active branch next to Create Branch. The calendar, the cashier, the dashboard, and products and inventory then show that branch's day and numbers, so a busy morning in Hamra and a quiet one in Verdun each have their own totals.

Who can open which branch is part of the role. View All Branches lets managers see and switch every branch, including ones added later. Other roles get the branches you tick on the role, and each staff member's working branches decide where they can be booked.

Services, prices, and booking rules per branch

A service starts on the branch where you create it. When you save it, BOC asks Add this service to other branches? and copies the service, its prices, and its booking settings to the branches you pick. From then on each branch keeps its own price list, so the same laser session can have a different price in each location.

Booking Settings follow the same idea: a capacity or availability rule applies to This branch only, All Branches, or the branches you choose. Package Settings ask Add this package to other branches? so a package runs on one branch, on several, or on every branch. Products share one list while each branch counts its own stock, with its own low-stock and expiry alerts.

Moving people, packages, and stock

To move a customer, open their file and press Move to another branch. Pick the new branch and BOC shows the upcoming visits it will transfer, then checks each one against that branch: date and time, staff member, service, and room or device capacity. A visit that fits keeps its time and moves to the new branch as it is. A visit that needs a change shows The date must be changed with the reason, such as This doctor is not assigned to the selected branch, and Edit time and date lets you pick a new slot. A visit you give a new time is booked on the new branch, and the original stays on the first branch as Postponed, so both branches show a clear history.

Done visits, visits finished in the room, and visits with a posted payment stay on the original branch, so each branch keeps the money it took. Paused visits travel with the customer. The move needs the Change Customer Branch permission, and the Activity Log records it with the number of visits moved.

Staff move from the Team list with Move to another branch, which needs Create Staff Account, or work in several branches through their working branches. Packages reach other branches from Package Settings. Stock moves with Transfer in Products & Inventory: choose From, To, and the products, and the Transfer Product card counts the transfers and their cost. Branches, branch switching, customer and staff moves, and stock transfers work in the BOC app for iPhone and Android as well.

Questions

Can BOC manage multiple clinic branches?

Yes. One BOC account holds all your branches. Each branch has its own calendar, time zone, cashier, booking settings, stock, and dashboard, and you switch branch from the account menu on the web or the menu in the BOC app.

Are services and prices shared between branches?

Each branch has its own services. A new service stays on the branch you have open unless you choose other branches when you save it. Later, the Branches button next to each service shows a tick for every branch: tick to add the service there, untick to take it off, and past visits and prices stay. If staff priced on the service have no file in that branch, BOC asks whether to add them there too. Each branch then keeps its own prices.

Can a staff member work in two branches?

Yes. Tick several working branches on their staff file, or press Move to another branch and choose to keep them in their branch and add the new one. Their one file opens from every branch they work in. Move only to the new branch takes the whole file out of the others.

What happens to upcoming visits when a customer changes branch?

BOC lists them and checks each one against the new branch: date and time, staff, service, and capacity. Visits that fit keep their time and move as they are, and the others ask you to edit the time and date before the move. When you give a visit a new time, the original stays on the first branch as Postponed.

Do paid visits move with the customer?

Paid visits stay on the original branch. Done visits and visits finished in the room stay there too, so each branch keeps the money it took.

How do I move stock between branches?

In Products & Inventory, press Transfer, pick From and To, and choose the products and quantities. The Transfer Product card shows the transfers and their cost.

What happens to customer files when I close a branch?

When you delete a branch that still holds customer files, BOC shows how many there are and asks which remaining branch should receive them. Transfer files moves the files and everything in them, and the branch stays under Trashed, where Restore brings it back.

Can I manage branches from the BOC app?

Yes. The BOC app for iPhone and Android has the branch list in the menu, Create Branch with the map and Use Current Location, the move of a customer or staff member to another branch, and stock transfers.
